Want to fight with the cast of Capcom and recruits from the Tatsunoko studio? You may need to scavenge for a copy of their Wii mash-up.
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, which includes fighters from both studios, was coined by the Japanese game developer in 2008 thanks to an agreement between both parties. The game was localised for the Western market several years later, and has since seen a fairly strong following of fans and online players.
However due to the rights ending recently, Capcom's Christian Svensson has confirmed that the Wii game cannot be sold physically or digitally anymore.
A reprint, eShop download or sequel is unlikely unless a new deal is formed - "I'd say the chances of this happening are slim."
Are you a fan of the franchise mix and would you like Capcom to consider a sequel for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars?
