To celebrate Shigeru Miyamoto's 60th birthday this week, Cubed3 explores his finest works and Nintendo innovation from Super Mario Bros to The Legend of Zelda.
The game designer started work at Nintendo back in 1979, where he helped pen some of the company's early arcade efforts. His concepts for the original Donkey Kong helped established the Japanese game maker in North America, and once he evolved Mario in a fully-fledged platformer in 1985/87, the rest is history.

Be sure to continue the appreciation for Miyamoto's work by sharing our infographic and of course playing through his finest Nintendo games.
