Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime was interviewed by CNN earlier this week, discussing third-party titles and the relevance of the Wii U GamePad.
With the console receiving a handful of negative remarks this week and confusion about what the Wii U is with the general public, Fils-Aime was quizzed on whether the new console could have the same impact as the original Wii in the home.
He also raised a point that he feels third party, multiplatform efforts look "dramatically better on Wii U", and that the console is future proof thanks to the innovation provided by the GamePad.
With the adoption rate of general tablets, like Apple's iPad, in the home increasing - Reggie was also questioned as to whether the Wii U setup is essentially he same, responding that it's more unified and developed with the TV in mind - much like our feature "Why the Wii U price is justified".
