New Trailer for Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate on Wii U on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

It's time to return to Capcom's world of poking metal into monsters with Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate.

The game launched with the Wii U last week, with the option to purchase it as part of a meaty hardware bundle, and will be cruising the world to Europe and North America next year. Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate boasts enhanced HG graphics, online play and bonus content not found on the Wii original.

For those unfamiliar with the popular Monster Hunter concept it revolves around, well, slaying beats and exploring a vast open world. The HD remake on Wii U scored just 35/40 (9/9/8/9) in a recent review in Japanese magazine, Famitsu.
By the end of the 30-second clip, it might just become clear that this version is in HD...

Wow, this game is in HD? I had no idea!

On a serious note, I love how the announcer sounds like he's almost exploding from his screaming. Stuff like this, only in Japan.

I'm, um, still unsure whether it's in HD or not lol Smilie

This was in my opinion one of the best-looking games on the Wii, and it looks even better now.
