New Trailer and Gameplay for Fist of the North Star: Ken

Tecmo Koei's beat 'em up, Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 for Wii U, has had a brand new trailer released today, along with a couple of gameplay clips for two characters.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, and based off of the original manga, this sequel to the first Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage game on PS3 and Xbox 360 offers a wealth of new modes and features, a hefty amount of playable characters, dynamic new moves, original storylines and even online co-op and versus play modes.

Take a look at the new trailer for the game released today:

Tecmo Koei Europe is also offering a pre-order bonus for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of game when it launches here on February 1st. This includes a whole bunch of exclusive costumes for eight of the playable characters. However, they stated today that this bonus is only for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, and not Wii U. Whether that changes down the line, or whether Wii U will get something different, is something we'll have to wait for and see.

Finally, here's a couple of new gameplay clips for Bat and Rin:

Whilst Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 has a set date of February 1st for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, the Wii U game is still pencilled in for "Summer 2013" in Europe. Japan should be seeing it on January 31st.

Hopefully the frame rate issues that plagued the Wii U warriors game won't be present in this.
