Craving that Monster Hunter fix? Capcom have released three delicious morsels of the upcoming Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate through gameplay snippets of three meaty monsters.

Due out in the West on Wii U and 3DS in March 2013 and already taking Japan by storm, Ultimate is set to be definitive version of the fan-favourite Monster Hunter 3, offering enhanced high definition graphics, online play (Wii U only) and additional monsters to conquer.

I have to say I'm looking forward to the 4th installment somewhat more than this one. Although, I'm hoping this will build a bigger fanbase. I sometimes feel that some people don't quite "get" the technical ability involved and run around hacking and slashing mindlessly. Playing well involves some serious skills, for me somewhat akin to the original Quake and Unreal / UT on PC back in the 90s (to draw a rather archaic comparison).
