Namco Bandai's explosive Wii U game has become the first to go from retail to free-to-play.
The launch game can be downloaded as a demo on the Nintendo Wii U eShop, which includes single, multiplayer features and the basic map for the various modes. However the demo can be "upgraded" to the full release by downloading additional content.
Likewise, the free/starter edition of Tank! Tank! Tank! can only be played three times a day until upgraded.
What do you think of the free-to-play approach? Would a similar campaign in your region make Tank! Tank! Tank! more appealing?
