Need for Speed: Most Wanted Will Support Off-TV Play on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

EA officially announced the release of Criterion's Need for Speed: Most Wanted on Wii U for Japan today, setting a date of 14th March and retailing for 6,615 yen. Whilst we await confirmed dates of the open world racer in the West, a couple of new snippets of info were announced.

Off-TV Play will be supported, allowing players to take the race from console to GamePad, and the Wii U's controller will also be used to display menu content for quick and easy access. Off-TV Play confirmation should please players looking to get the Wii U version, but other information is still unknown, such as the online side of things. Hopefully more details and Western release dates will be announced soon.
