If you're any kind of gamer, you've heard of Iwata Asks. If you haven't, well, as Reggie would say, what's wrong with you?
Seriously though, if you're not familiar with Iwata Asks, it's a series of developer interviews conducted by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata and prominent developers in the gaming industry. Iwata, if you aren't aware, spent much of his career in actual development, and for the last 10 years has been the driving creative force behind Nintendo's business decisions, from the Gamecube to the 3DS and the Wii U.
This Iwata Asks features Platinum Games and the developers behind games like Bayonetta, Wonderful 101, MadWorld, Vanquish, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Iwata learns what makes Platinum Games so good (spoilers: a lot of development experience, good office environment, valuing employees), and talks about what it's like living the dream of a game development idol.
So be sure to run on over to Nintendo and enjoy some (laughs).
