Are you a fan of the Pokémon animé?

The Pokémon Company has lauched new apps on iOS and Android for fans to watch their favourite episodes.

It's not the first time Pokémon has branched outside the Nintendo domain, and now the Pokémon TV app will let you catch-up on the latest episodes, plus watch a handful of classic episodes of Ash, Pikachu and friends doing what they do best: giving the baddies a good, healthy dose of thunderbolt.

Alongside full episodes, the app also includes trailers and special features on the Pokémon films and related merchandise.

Supported systems include iOS and Android, though oddly there isn't a mention of Nintendo Wii U or 3DS support yet.

Most importantly, the app is free to download and episodes free to stream.
