Guild 02 Nintendo 3DS Gameplay Footage, eShop Exclusive on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Guild 02 is heading to Japan but as Nintendo 3DS eShop-exclusive downloads instead of retail, Satoru Iwata confirmed today.

When publisher Level-5 first launched Guild 01 in Japan, the bundle consisted of four smaller games by different studios as a single retail package. Since heading to the West, these were localised as eShop titles.

Now with the sequel Guild 02 on the way, Level-5 have confirmed that the games will be released on the 3DS eShop only. The game brings together creations from Keiji Inafune, Kazu Ayabe and a joint title between Takemaru Abiko and Kazuya Asano.

Bug Tank
Created by Inafune, this game finds you shrunk to insect level and facing huge critters within a minature tank.

The Friday When The Monsters Appear
Follows a young boy who lives in a fictional 1970 Japan where monsters appear each week on a Friday.

Spacecraft Damrei / Alone
A 3D first person suspense adventure by Abiko and Asano. You're pitted in a dark room with little to no instruction, with amnesia to boot. Can you escape?

Would you like to see Guild 02 localised for the West? If so, which game(s) take your fancy?

Spacecraft Damrei / Alone is the only one that really strikes my fancy (especially since Kamaitachi no Yoru on Super Famicom, mentionned by Iwata in the Nintendo Direct and developed by the same creator, was awesome for its story and overall atmosphere). I want at least that one to be localised, and I'll be happy.
