Donkey Kong Sans Tie Makes iOS Clone on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

What's Donkey Kong without his iconic red tie? A generic ape that stars in an iOS rip-off called Krazy Kong.

The game, developed by a studio for iOS system, uses near identical artwork and branding to Nintendo's popular Donkey Kong series and sees the lead character running and jumping across a jungle as part of an auto-runner setup.

IGN walked through the game to give you an idea of how rather crazy the Krazy Kong is:

Clever concept or blatant rip-off? What do you think of Krazy Kong?

This is hilarious...although the concept of Donkey Kong is also ripped off itself...

I wonder if this is why Nintendo refuses to put their games on phones....with people who have crap for standards & respect making shameless garbage like this I HOPE Nintendo never does so their work doesn't get lumped in with this garbage.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Mobile gaming is a conundrum. it saddens me that it could have any effect on handheld gaming in general. I would be embarrassed to put my name to this. It puzzles me that Apple and google do not remove such rip offs as soon as they are aware.

This is so bad Smilie
