Nintendo has teased fans of Eternal Darkness by once again extending the game's trademark in the US.
As spotted earlier this week, the classic Nintendo GameCube game has had its trademark extended by the American arm for the fifth time, reason unknown. The classic GameCube game may well be seeing a re-release from a different studio or perhaps a potential sequel.
Original developer Silicon Knights was rumoured to have been working on a follow-up, but was apparently cancelled by Nintendo.
Given the extension, there may well be something ahead for Eternal Darkness fans.
Would you like to see a sequel or port of the original Eternal Darkness game on Nintendo 3DS or Wii U?
