Nintendo Extends Eternal Darkness Trademark for the Fifth Time on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo has teased fans of Eternal Darkness by once again extending the game's trademark in the US.

As spotted earlier this week, the classic Nintendo GameCube game has had its trademark extended by the American arm for the fifth time, reason unknown. The classic GameCube game may well be seeing a re-release from a different studio or perhaps a potential sequel.

Original developer Silicon Knights was rumoured to have been working on a follow-up, but was apparently cancelled by Nintendo.

Given the extension, there may well be something ahead for Eternal Darkness fans.

Would you like to see a sequel or port of the original Eternal Darkness game on Nintendo 3DS or Wii U?

Really it took them this long to finally announce a return to Eternal Darkness? Ridiculous! I've been waiting for this a long time, heck I still have my Gamecube with all the goodies!

I would love a sequel or remake for the Wii U! Or hell why not do both? Come on Nintendo!

Dunno why anyone would want a remake rather then a new game, but they might need a port or remake first to proove a market.

Also; could Nintendo just buy Silicone Knights? Sure they would be pretty cheap these days.

Just hurry up & give us our sequal or remake with all the missing content Nintendo....

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
