Let Monsters Talk in Resident Evil: Revelations Wii U, Rachel Joins the RAID Roster on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Remember Rachel from the original Nintendo 3DS version of Resident Evil Revelations? She'll be a playable character in the console edition.

Capcom confirmed today that the well equipped Rachel will join the roster, alongside HUNK, in the multiplayer Raid mode feature.

The folk behind Resident Evil also commented more specifically on the Wii U version, which will contain a manner of different control schemes: The GamePad and TV, Wii U Pro Controller or on the GamePad alone via the previously confirmed off-TV feature.

Miiverse also comes into play - more specifically if you're unable to come with the zombie onslaught and end up with a "Game Over" screen. Players can post a message from this screen in particular to others to let them know that the undead have won this round.

In addition there'll be what Capcom are calling the "Creatures Voice" feature, which amusing allows you to add speech bubbles over monsters that appear in-game. "I wuv you, now give me a hug!" would be highly appropriate in this situation.

All these little additions are shaping up nicely. I hope the online is really improved and ditches the lag that plagued the 3DS version often. And I can't remember if this was confirmed but I hope for voice chat too, if not with strangers, then at least with friends.

If they do all this, then I'll definitely be sold once more Smilie.

Resident Evil Revelations has online multiplayer?

Also, does anyone know how Rachel sees?

It did on 3DS so it's hard to see any reason why it shouldn't have online multiplayer in the superior version.

I asked myself the same question Smilie. Same way dogs with long hair all over their eyes can see i suppose Smilie.

She sees, with her breasts Smilie

The speech bubbles over monsters looks hilarious. Miiverse integration is cool too.

Nice.....depending on just how much they add I may end up buying this again at launch. Buuuuut more likely will wait till the price drops 2-3 times since I own the 3DS original.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
