NES Remake of DuckTales Heading to Wii U eShop in DuckTales Remastered on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Dianey's Scrooge McDuck seeks even more gaming gold by returning in DuckTales Remastered as announced by Cacpom today.

Capcom have been teasing unannounced games this week and one of them is a remake of the much loved NES game DuckTales. Revealed today during a panel at PAX East, the game is being put together by WayForward and is set for a release on the Wii U eShop ($15), PSN and XBLA.

WayForward have a solid reputation for platforming, including Mighty Switch Force!, A Boy and His Blob and Mighty Flip Champs!

Instead of simply porting the game across, DuckTales Remastered includes gorgeous hand-drawn sprites, the background world in 3D, plus reworked music from WayForward's Jake Kaufman. In addition to the visual and sound boosting,l there'll be a inclusion of Scrooge's Money Bin and museum for a dollop of DuckTales and Disney nostalgia.

Capcom also posted a short trailer of the game in action - DuckTales, woo-ooo! Everyday they're out there making DuckTales!

Will you join Scrooge McDuck in DuckTales Remastered this summer?

Damn it....I really wish Nintendo was the first system to be listed on the available on list. Being the last one listed seems so insulting...

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Going in the right direction...now make Castle of Illusion, Lucky Dime Casper and Aladdin and i will be happy!

This should b exclusive to Nintendo platforms for a timed period. 1 of my fav games ever.
