A Look at the New Nintendo Wii U, 3DS eShop Cards on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo UK are to release a handful of prepaid cards for players to redeem on the Wii U or 3DS eShop.

The new look, spotted by Nintendo Life, is available to pre-order on Amazon and comes in three distinctive flavours: £50, £25 and £15 to use on digital releases, eShop-only games plus the Virtual Console service. Mario of course takes the higher amount, whilst the adorable Toad sits comfortably on the lower end.

The cards can be used on Wii, DSi, 3DS and Wii U - but because of Nintendo's lack of a unified accounts system, it appears that the remaining balance can't be transferred onto another format.
