Capcom Sidesteps New Mega Man Comments

With Capcom's community manager teasing a new Mega Man title, the company have brushed these comments aside.

Earlier this week at PAX East Brett Elston confirmed that a new game in the ever-popular Mega Man series is in development but the publisher is "not ready" to fully announce it yet.

However Capcom have stepped in to clarify Elston's comments, stating that whilst they are having "ongoing discussions about Mega Man", nothing will be announced "until something is ready". Capcom are celebrating the blue bomber's 25th anniversary by re-releasing past Mega Man games on the Nintendo 3DS, potentially leading to a completely new project on the horizon.
