Resident Evil Revelations is getting a solid amount of extra content in HD re-release, but will it be available for Nintendo 3DS players?
Revelations started life as a Nintendo 3DS exclusive in Capcom's long-running survival horror adventure, but is getting a spruced up versions for consoles this May. One of the extras will be additional playable characters in Raid mode, like Rachel, not present in the 3DS original.
This content, which could be available via DLC, isn't planned for Nintendo 3DS.
When quizzed in the Capcom Unity forums, Capcom senior VP Christian Svensson replied that "there are no planned updates for the 3DS version of Revelations" and that the development team "have added a fair amount of new content to the new edition which is fairly common to do."
So those seeking the bonus content in Resident Evil Revelations HD will have to opt for the Wii U or other formats for now.
