2004 Bafta Awards Announced
Bounty Hunter, Hero of Time and Portable War Antics



The official Bafta website recently announced their Video Game awards for this year in a ceremony that took place previously on the 25th of February (yesterday evening). The awards are based on various games in the industry for the current platforms available. They also span over the best film, TV and interactive media. It is interesting indeed to see the company taking into consideration video games as an acceptable form of entertainment and interactive media with Nintendo receive quite a few awards in various categories across the board.

The categories Nintendo fall under are highlighted below:

Best GameCube Game

  • Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg
  • Soulcalibur II
  • The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
  • Timesplitters 2
  • Viewtiful Joe
    Winner: Metroid Prime (also nominated for sound and action)

    Best GameBoy Advance

  • Finding Nemo
  • Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age
  • Pok
