Intelligent Systems Keen to Continue Advance Wars Series on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The folk behind Advance Wars are keen to continue the series at some point Masahiro Higuchi revealed in a Fire Emblem group chat.

In an interview on the Official Fire Emblem website, the team were quizzed if Intelligent Systems would develop a new entry in the popular Advance Wars series. The short answer is that that studio would "certainly like to make another [Advance Wars] title" as they "never want to put an end to any series we're involved with".

The studio have been involved in the Wars franchise for over two decades, starting work on Game Boy Wars, ending with Advance Wars: Days of Ruin in 2008. Could be we seeing a Wii U Wars at some point?

But I think they should keep the art style set in Days of Ruin. It was dark, mature & clean as well. Battalion Wars is far too goofy for me & I end up feeling like I'm playing a third person Worms game (which isn't a bad thing but I'd enjoy a different art direction personally) with how the soldier act. Days of Ruin art should be the series staple for the console versions at least.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
