Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Wii U Software Update Due April 16 on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Wanting to join the Monster Hunter campaign with adventurers in other regions? The much anticipated software update is due 16 April.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate launched on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS last month, to critical acclaim, and whilst the game supports online play from the get-go, Capcom have promised an update to remove cross region barriers.

From 16th April players in Europe will be able to communicate with those in North America, plus also play the entire game using the GamePad screen via Off-TV play.

In related news, Capcom are also holding a Monster Hunter Community College this month.

Will you take the Monster Hunter experience overseas with the latest software update?

Really looking forward to hunt with people in the US and I may just take advantage of the Off-TV play, so I can play MH downstairs, without having to take the whole console with me.

Great news! I wonder if they fixed charm tables?

What do you mean by "fixed" charm tables?

Charm tables are set at character creation. They aren't changed each time you play.
