Fire Emblem Leads European Wii U, 3DS eShop Updates - 18th April on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo have posted this week's Wii U and Nintendo 3DS eShop updates, which include Fire Emblem: Awakening and a sale on Guild01 releases.

It's yet another packed release schedule for European fans, with the launch of the critically acclaimed Fire Emblem: Awakening, also available on the eShop as a digital download. The 30th Anniversary Famicom/NES celebrations also continue with the release of the European version of Kirby's Adventure (NES).

These games will be available to download on the Nintendo eShop from 18th April, with the exception of Fire Emblem: Awakening - available 19th April.

Nintendo 3DS eShop - Digital Downloads

  • Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo - £4.99/€4.99
  • Dig Dug (VC) - £3.59/€3.99

  • Forgotten Legions - £4.49/€4.99

Wii U - Digital Downloads

  • Kirby's Adventure (VC) - 30p/€0.30 (£3.49/€4.99 from 17th May).
  • Kung Fu Rabbit - £4.49/€4.99

  • Liberation Maiden - £4.49/€4.99 (was £7.19/€7.99 - until 30 May)
  • Crimson Shroud - £4.49/€4.99 (was £7.19/€7.99 - until 30 May)

Kirby's Adventure VC for me (will be cool to see if we get the 50Hz version this time or not, considering Kirby was localised to other European languages!!) and Fire Emblem DLC since those are supposed to become available this week Smilie.

EDIT: Only just saw SuperLink's post onthe Wii U thread. Meh, OK, so it's the 50Hz version this time, but not as big an issue as it was with Balloon Fight.

Who would download Fire Emblem for £39.99 when you can get it at GAME for £32.99 with a free artbook? ...bizarre...

Looking forward to the day Nintendo reduce all digital 3DS games to £29.99.

Because they should not be more than that to begin with.
