GAME to offer Nintendo Wii U, 3DS eShop Codes on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Retailer GAME has become the first European retailer to sell redeemable Nintendo eShop codes online and in store.

Digital eShop releases of Nintendo 3DS and Wii U retail games can also be purchased from GAME, with a code issued when completing an order. These can then be popped into the Nintendo eShop and downloaded straight away. GAME are offering a trade-in incentive for selected titles against eShop purchases at an additional 25% trade-in value.

"We're thrilled to be able to offer brand new Nintendo Wii U and 3DS releases as digital download from day one of release, and that starts today with Fire Emblem Awakening on 3DS."

As the service rolls out to other retailers and online outlets, it's likely that competitive pricing for digital releases and eShop cards will increase.

Will you be buying digital retail releases from GAME?

And right on time for me to be able to download Animal Crossing without paying £40!

Add me on anything. I'm always looking for new friends/opponents/town visitors/chances to appear more popular than I actually am.

Hurry up and bring em to other retailers so we can get some decent prices. Buying boxed games digitally on the 3DS/WiiU is a pain because of the ridiculous prices. :/
