Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward Creator Would Consider Wii U

Zero Escape: Virtue

The creator of Virtual's Last Reward recently expressed interest in a possible Wii U version for the visual novel series.

999: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward creator Kotaro Uchikoshi was quizzed by IGN this week on his approaches to these games. After a successful run on portables, would Uchikoshi consider bringing one of these games to a home console?

The designer would consider Virtue's Last Reward but feels that with 999 it "would be hard, just because the core of the game is dual screen". However during the interview he "realized, though, that it might be possible on the Wii U."

As for a sequel it "is in my head at the moment" Uchikoshi admitted and that he might "be able to announce something in the near future".

Would you like to see these visual novels make the jump to Nintendo Wii U and consoles, or should they remain strictly portable?

You'd better have a sequel in mind considering you practically wrote VLR on the basis of leading up to something else..!

But in all seriousness, I would be overjoyed to see the next instalment hit the WiiU! However for the sake of those who want to play the series without buying too many consoles, I would hope they at least use 3DS as the base platform for the third entry.
