E3 2013 | Nintendo Reveals Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS - Watch the Debut Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo have revealed the debut trailer for the next pair of Super Smash Bros. titles for Wii U and 3DS.

To wrap up the Nintendo E3 Direct proceedings today, the company finally lifted the lid on a multiplatform project announced two years ago. In development by producer Masahiro Sakurai, his team and the folk at Namco Bandai, the forthcoming game will see a return to the big stage for Nintendo characters plus some guest stars.

In the roster so far is the usual collective - Mario, Link, Donkey Kong, Samus, Kirby - plus the much request addition of Capcom's Mega Man to the fray.

Stay tuned for the first screenshots and further updates, but for now the debut trailer:

Animal Crossing character looks hilarious! Smilie

Am pumped for this, definitely! Looking forward to it Smilie Hoping for a little bit more umph from the Wii U version though, doesn't look too far from Brawl for me imo. Needs to be a little bit faster Smilie

Yeah I hope the Wii U version gets a graphical upgrade too, looks a bit too similar to Brawl. Also a Xenoblade or X character would be a cool addition. I don't want every character announced before hand like last time though. So I'll stop asking for reveals.

Never been a fan of Megaman, so him being the guest character is a bit bleh.

So excited about this!!! Initially I thought WOW cel shaded graphics that looks cool... and then It wasn't!!!
Im not sure about the Villager & WiiFit lady ... Smilie But MEGAMAN is on so thats friggin COOOOOOOL!!!!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562
