E3 2013 | Brand New Footage of Xenoblade Developer

Nintendo revealed more new footage of the upcoming Wii U project from Monolith, currently named "X".

The developer of the critically acclaimed Xenoblade has been crafting a vast, vibrant and highly detailed world in the new Wii U title. Meaty mecha, a protagonist with study boots and high octane futuristic battles appear on the cards for the new Wi U title. It appears the mecha transport can also transform into different vehicle types depending on the terrain.

Nintendo have been quiet on the details so far, but the project is certainly shaping up to being one of the Wii U's finest looking titles to date.

This looks genuinly incredible!! The draw distance, the virticality, the textures, the sharpness of it all. Stunning. Day 1 buy without a doubt!

looks fantastic, hopefully the plot and characters have had as much effort put into them as the world

If its even 1/4 as good as Xenoblade its a system seller for me.
And it looks BETTER.

This is one of the reasons I will buy a Wii U, this game looks amazing, well, this ans Super Smash Bros Wii U.

According to IGN and their E3 coverage this game does not exist.

Yep its like they only see, what they want to see. If Nintendo produces something new, they choose to ignore it. Its the same for the wonderful 101.

IGN:"We need new IPs wah, wah, wah"
nintendo produces some.
IGN:"All nintendo makes is mario"
but...

but....
IGN:"ALL NINTENDO MAKES IS MARIO"
IGN Reader: "apparently all nintendo makes is mario"

I've seen a lot of people complain that X wasn't on the ballot for an IGN award, even though it had a full trailer, while games like the next Halo were with just a small non-gameplay teaser.

IGN also started voting for who won E3 before Nintendo even showed anything.

In their summary of Nintendo's E3 they had some weird things to say. Fortunately the commenters didn't play along and stood up to IGN. Just read some of the first comments (the first of which has over 3300 +1's.)

Spike TV is really bad too. During one interview with Reggie they asked him the same question 2-3 times, trying to prod him into saying yes. Each time he firmly said no. Then two minutes after the interview they were talking about it and said something like "We just talked to Reggie and he said (whatever they wanted him to say yes to)" I seriously couldn't believe it.

That same day they also gave the brilliant suggestion that Nintendo should probably announce a new Wii Fit for Wii U sometime soon.

I always preferred G4's coverage to Spikes, but since G4 basically doesn't exist anymore I decided to watch Spike. But after that I couldn't watch anymore and immediately deleted the rest of my DVR.

It's the unfortunate reality we live in, I mentioned the same phenomenon in the C3 Roundtable. Xenoblade was a completely new IP and one of the greatest RPGs of the last generation and yet nobody ever brings it up, instead they continue to say that Nintendo needs to make new IPs. Is it because it's Monolith Soft, a Nintendo-owned studio and not one of their EAD groups? If so, then I guess none of Naughty Dog's and many other Sony-owned studios count either. Oh and don't forget any smaller games on the eShop being automatically invalid as well.

The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 are both affected too. While I've seen Bayonetta 2 get some coverage, The Wonderful 101 is almost completely ignored. The fact alone that Nintendo is funding both of these games for a more diverse library should earn them some respect but that rarely seems to be the case.

Yep its really bad journalism, the roundtable really did annoy me. Especially that one guy pushing his anti-nintendo agenda. Praising the Gamecube and slamming the Wii. I doubt he's even heard of Xenoblade, The Last Story, Pandora's Tower or Sin and Punishment 2. No Nintendo just makes Mario and Zelda.

wonderful wonderful wonderful i love xenoblade......please keep the jrps coming nintendo  there the best on the planet !!!!!!!
