Toki Tori 2+ Heading to Wii U eShop as well on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

After the debut trailer for Toki Tori 2+ for Steam yesterday, developer Two Tribes has confirmed it will come to Nintendo Wii U as well.

A message from the studio notes that Toki Tori 2+, a port with additional features and level editor, will be released on Steam first on July 11th but "all changes and improvements that we made for the Steam version, will eventually make it to the Wii U version as well!"

There'll also be additional puzzles, refinements to the gameplay and presentation as well.

Is it going to be some sort of DLC that you have to pay for or simply a free update for those who already purchased the game on WiiU?

This wasn't announced yesterday Jorge. I knew about this when they first announced Toki Tori 2+. From what I've heard Rudy, it'll just be a huge update at no extra cost. Smilie

Well I already knew that that the level editor would come in an update for the Wii U version, but there was no question of a 2+ version of the game at the time so i wondered if it that had changed.

In an article I saw on Nintendo Life a couple of months (or so) back, Two Tribes stated that exclusive content from Toki Tori 2+ would eventually be added to the Wii U version, "where it makes sense".  This leads me to think it will come in the form of an update, to thank early adopters of the Wii U version.
