Star Wars Heading to Wii U in Pinball Form

Zen Studios have confirmed that Star Wars Pinball will be rolling out onto the Nintendo Wii U eShop next month.

The game, which features a wide range of Star Wars theemes and iconic designs, will be available to download in Europe/North America on July 11th for €9.99/$9.99 and feature three themed tables. These will be Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The gam will also feature a socially driven theme, with players opting to support the Galactic Empire or Rebel Alliance, with the interface changing depending on the the community result. There'll also be the inclusion of various challenges, leaderboards and multiplayer features for the Star Wars and pinball enthusiast.

The GamePad can be used as the main controller or an optional information display.
