New Pikmin 3 Trailer Introduces Pikmin Types on Wii U

Nintendo UK have posted a new video for Pikmin 3 that introduces the various critters players can encounter in the new game.

Like in the previous Pikmin titles, not all the creatures are the same. Blue pikmin deal with water far better than the others, whilst Red pikmin can take on fire far better. The yellow variety deal in electric, whilst the newer rock pikmin pack a huge punch on the landscape.

Finally the much talked about winged pikmin can take to the skies for an all new layer of survival strategy.

Pikmin 3 is out July 26th in Europe, 27th in Australia and August 4th in North America.
