Pokémon Rumble U NFC Toys Available at GAME on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Want to bring your Pokémon toys into the world of Pokémon Rumble U? In the UK, retailer GAME are stocking 18 figures.

These mystery toys, each housed in a plastic Pokéball, allow players to use NFC technology on the Wii U GamePad to import selected Pokémon in the game. The current roster includes Bulbasaur, Pikachu, Deoxys, Lucario, Mewtwo and Mew.

The retailer is also stocking a Special Edition bundle for the game, which includes an eShop download code, mystery NFC figure, limited edition Black Kyurem or White Kyurem NFC Figure and a poster.

If Nintendo play their advertising and their cards right this could lead to ridiculous success.

Skylanders took Spyro from niche game hero to the best selling action toys of 2013.

Imagine what it'd do for Pokémon, something which already sells ridiculous amounts on games and merchandise alone let alone combined.
