Bravely Default: Flying Fairy in English will be the For the Sequel Edition on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The recently announced expanded edition of Bravely Default: Flying Fairy has been confirmed as the version heading to the West.

After Square Enix announced the new edition, titled For the Sequel, last week - fans had wondered whether the localised edition would include these new elements. Fortunately, the official Bravely Default Twitter account today confirmed that "the official edition is based on 'for the sequel'".

For the Sequel will include a revised battle system/pacing, improvements to the game's UI, additional save slots and changes to the depth of the party system. Flying Fairy (or known in Europe as Bravely Default: Where the Fairy Flies) is heading to North America in 2014 and Europe by the end of this year.

Thanks to C3 reader Magna for the tip.

Has this announcement sealed the deal for grabbing hold of Bravely Default: Flying Fairy/Bravely Default: Where the Fairy Flies when it arrives outside Japan?

Another important detail that the official Twitter also confirmed is that we'll be getting dual audio as well! Day One for me! Smilie

I had been interested in the original back in the day when it was first announced. Was disapointed when it seemed to disappear from the Western radar. Glad to see we'll be getting this edition!

Been avoiding RPGs due to time constraints and a huge backlog but I may not be able to hold back from this! :-o
