Renegade Kid Offering Nintendo 3DS Version of Mighty No. 9 on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

With home consoles as stretch goals for Keiji Inafune's new indie project Mighty No. 9, Renegade Kid has offered up a 3DS version.

The new project, which draws heavily from Inafune's past creation Mega Man, introduces a brand new hero Beck into a contemporary look with classic mechanics. The initial Kickstarter goal of $900,000 has already been blitzed after just over one day of crowd-funding, so the game will be made.

With 29 days to go at time of writing, the $2,500,000 stretch goal for Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions appears to be very much achievable - will you pledge support?

Portable versions have not been mentioned, however 2D experts Renegade Kid have offered up support to help develop a 3DS version of Mighty No. 9 on Twitter.

Would you like to see Mighty No. 9 heading to Nintendo 3DS?

This would be great - I'm sure they'll make the $2.5 million console goal.
