With Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, there'll be a new paid-for cloud based internet service to store up to 3000 Pokémon wirelessly, Nintendo confirmed today, called Pokémon Bank. In addition, new software will allow Pokémon Black and White trainers to transfer across existing Pokémon into the service.

Nintendo also highlighted more mega evolutions, including fan-favourite trio Mega Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur.

Finally, the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y 3DS XL bundles were confirmed for Europe and North America - releasing on September 27th.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are due to hit stores globally on October 12th.
