Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Meets Kickstarter Goal

The new HD Shantae platforming adventure from WayForward, Half-Genie Hero, has passed its Kickstarter goal.

The studio have been raising funds to develop the much-anticipated project, with a $400,000 goal. At time of writing there's nine days to go, and the project has blitzed the initial target, stepping into the stretch goals. The new game brings the familiar hair whipping, belly dancing and platforming design to the big screen - including releases on Wii U, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Stream and Vita.
