Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Delayed to 2014

Nintendo have announced a delay for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze during the latest Nintendo Direct broadcast today.

Developed by Retro Studios, new new Wii U title needs "a little more time to deliver an optimum experience", according to company president Satoru Iwata. Unfortunately Tropical Freeze will now be available at an unknown date in 2014.

A shame but if its for the quality of the game then I'm all for it. It would have been good to have it for the Holiday season for the sales but then again it'll keep up the momentum nicely in early 2014 before Mario Kart 8 arrives.
