Pikmin 3 DLC Mission Mode Content and Update Now Live on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

A software update for Pikmin 3 on Wii U, available from today, offers improvements and DLC mission stages.

The software update, required to run and download the add-on content, is said to improve the Global Ranking features so players can view high scores from Mission Mode at any time.

There'll be various mission stages to purchase, with additional content available at a later date. One of the maps will be free, however a "Collect Treasure" stage pack with three additional levels will retail at £1.79 for the lot.

Are you sure about those numbers? I can't check it myself, because a friend is borrowing my Pikmin 3.

But I think the game originally has 5 Collect Treasure missions. And Nintendo Direct showed that "mission 7-10" cost €2.
So that would mean mission 6 is free.

Awesome!

I absolutely love Pikmin 3. Easily my game of the year.
I've main played single player, but have done the challenge modes a couple of times and they are very fun. I'll definitely be downloading the DLC packs.

I don't know about the UK, but in the States the DLC is $1.99.

6 is free iwata said so in the nintendo direct. Can't wait for more missions

So why are Eurogamer and Cubed3 saying you only get 3 missions in the DLC? It clearly said 7-10 in the video.
I would check if I could, but sadly I don't have my Pikmin 3 here.
