Charizard Has Two Mega Evolutions in Pokémon X and Y on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Another surprise announcement today as Nintendo have revealed a second Mega Charizard.

In Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, players will be able to go Mega with a selected bunch of critters, but some like Mewtwo will have multiple variations.

The Charizardite X stone changes the beast from Fire/Flying to Fire/Dragon type, and it's considerably heavier than the original. It'll also turn black and radiate hotter blue flames! Those with Charizardite Y stone will unlock Mega Charizard X, a similar beast with pointed horns and improved fire attacks.
