Shovel Knight on Track for Winter Release on Wii U, 3DS

Indie developer Yacht Club Games have confirmed that popular 2D side-scroller Shovel Knight is on track for a Winter release.

The game, which boasts a classic 16-bit look and feel, revolves around a chap called Shovel Knight, who's destined to defeat the Black Knight by simply using a sharpened shovel. The studio confirmed on Twitter this week that Shovel Knight will launch on PC, Steam, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS this Winter.

Shovel Knight is also sailing toward a Winter release on all initial platforms. PC, Steam, Wii U, and 3DS!
