Nintendo Changes Facebook Page Titles for Wii U, 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

As previously rumoured, Nintendo of America have changed the names for the two primary Facebook pages to group both home and portables.

The new pages reflect on the ever-growing number of consoles in Nintendo's roster - the Wii U, 3DS, 3DS XL and 2DS being the company's primary focus at the moment. With the original Wii and DS legacy still strong, the Facebook fan pages have been renamed accordingly.

There's now Nintendo Console Gaming for the Wii U and Wii and Nintendo Handheld Gaming for the 3DS, XL and 2DS consoles. The only major drawback is that the move potentially makes it harder for fans to search for the 3DS and Wii U specifically, with only the other Nintendo regions appearing in the search results.
