NPD Sales Confirm Strong September for 3DS and Wii U in North America on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The latest NPD figures for September has highlighted positive results for both Wii U and 3DS in North America.

Nintendo confirmed that the 3DS was the best selling video-game console in the US for the fifth month running, whilst the Wii U drew in significantly more interest due to the new price-drop and release of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD - The console sales increased by over 200 percent over sales in August.

October will likely see similar, if not better, success given the release of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y together with the new Nintendo 2DS console.

They need to stop focusing on the 3DS and start worrying about the Wii U!

I knew it would happen.  The WiiU's resurrection has begun.
