Nintendo Misses out on Golden Joystick Awards on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The winners of this year's Golden Joystick Awards have been announced, with Nintendo missing out.

With over 10 million votes cast, the winner of this year's Game of the Year was Grand Theft Auto V, alongside Steam as Best Gaming Platform. The Last of Us took Best Newcomer and Best Storytelling. The Most Wanted award, which included nominees PS4 and Xbox One, lost out to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Call of Duty was honoured with the Hall of Fame award.

Unfortunately Nintendo lost out on all the awards this year, including  Best Handheld Game, in which it usually reins supreme, to Assassin's Creed III: Liberation for PS Vita.

Who did you vote for in this year's Golden Joystick Awards?
