Steel Diver Sequel Spotted on Ratings Board on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

A listing on the Australian Classifications Board has revealed a possible successor to Steel Diver.

The 3DS game may well get a sequel with the listing titled Steel Diver: Sub Wars, with original developer Vitei seemingly attached to the project. It's believed that this could be one of the smaller projects lead by Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto, as a potential free-to-play game.

Interestingly, the listing also states that the "gaming experience may change online", which could well be an indication of online play, hopefully.

Would you dive into the experience if a sequel were to be made?

It was confirmed back in June that a new Steel Diver game would be Nintendo's first free-to-play game so I would be surprised if this was a second new Steel Diver game.

I don't recall any mention of a release date/time frame, so hopefully this means soon!
