StreetPass Network Website Handed to Nintendo

The unofficial StreetPass website has been handed over to Nintendo.

StreetPass Network, a fan-driven website that linked 3DS fans around the globe, has confirmed that control over the www.streetpassnetwork.com domain has been transferred to Nintendo of America.

After discussions between the two groups on intellectual property and trademarks, it was agreed to hand over the domain. It's uncertain what Nintendo will be doing with the web address going forward, as it currently redirects to the official site.
