Mewtwo Film Prequel to air on Cartoon Network on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Cartoon Network will air a new prologue to the latest Pokémon flick, Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened this Saturday.

The channel, in the US, will show a special new prequel to the flick called Mewtwo—Prologue to Awakening on Saturday 11th January at 8:30am. In the short, Rescue Squad member Vigil and Team Eevee head out on an adventure of their own, but end up crossing paths with the all-time Poké-legend, Mewtwo.

After the Prologue, fans can have another chance to watch Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened.

I watched part of the Genesect Movie and what I want to know is, the Mewtwo in this film is different from the one in the first movie. Are you telling me that a different group of scientists managed to create an identical clone? It kind of ruins the canon they set up originally and de-values Mewtwo somewhat.

Sigh, the pokemon anime depresses me sometimes haha. Smilie

Yeah they're different Mewtwos and yeah I agree with you.
