A Kickstarter project from the director of Final Fantasy Tactics has launched today called Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians.
Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians is pitched as a "detailed and immersive game world" where player's actions and decisions are key to bringing the vibrant new world to life. As a turn-based, tactical war RPG, players do battle on a 3-D landscape, with a job/professions system for the different member units within your team.
The campaign is seeking to release $600,000 as the initial goal, with numerous delicious stretch goals that includes a Nintendo 3DS port if funding reaches $2.8 million. The stretch goals include a challenge mode, a possible inclusion of famed Final Fantasy Tactics music-man Hitoshi Sakimoto as lead composer, more scenarios and even a live concert by Sakimoto if crow-funding reaches $3.1 million.
What are your thoughts on the Unsung Story concept - will you pledge your support?
