Fans of the The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords can grab the game for free for the next four days on the US eShop.

Nintendo have brought back The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords - Anniversary Edition - to the 3DS eShop, and until 2nd February 2014 it will be completely free to download and experience once again on the handheld.

Four Swords was the very first multiplayer game in the iconic adventure series, introducing a new plot-line and taking advantage of the Game Boy Advance link cables for local connectivity. The Anniversary Edition was initially made free back in 2011, and included new levels not available in the original release.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease bring it to the PAL eShop!! It was the only Zelda game I didn't own, so I went through a LOT of trouble to get it. And now I'd love to get it on my 2nd 3DS. And all my friends should get it as well, so I can play with them. Smilie

It's to coincide with the release of a Link to the Past on Wii U eShop, which makes it all the more confusing for it being on the 3DS, hopefully this will become a free download over here aswell whenever they release a Link to the Past on this side of the Atlantic (probably in 4 years when theres a new console out)

If you're from the UK, as your profile states, you'll be happy to know "A Link to the Past' was released on Wii U's Virtual Console last month on December 12th.
