New Footage for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

A big chill is creeping up to the once prosperous and bustling world of Donkey Kong in Tropical Freeze.

The latest game, developed by Retro Studios for Wii U, finds the ever-cheeky simians celebrating Donkey Kong's birthday. All seems to be going swimmingly, bananas and all, and just as our tie-wearing hero makes a wish, disaster strikes as a new set of villains wreak havoc on the island and banish the Kongs to a land far from home.

The new footage explores some of the vast environments that the team will venture into, from the more traditional forest levels to marine and pirate set-pieces.
