Limited Edition Theatrhythm Final Fantasy 3DS XL for Japan on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Fans of limited edition Nintendo hardware can unwrap a new look Theatrhythm Final Fantasy model this April.

Square Enix confirmed earlier this week that eagerly anticipated sequel to the hit Nintendo 3DS rhythm game, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, will launch in Japan on 24th April 2014. The limited edition console comes in deep black, adorned with a Final Fantasy patterned print and adorable artwork of familiar series protagonists joined together in Theatrhythm harmony.

As cool as that looks I'm happy with my Zelda 3DS XL....& this loses points for having Cloudy face & Lightning Mcqueer front & center. Square-Penis needs to understand better taste in games & realise cloud isn't the whiny emotional hero worth milking that FF weaboos TRY to make him out to be. Final Fantasy VI with GREEN haird Terra should get more spotlight as 6 is the best FF released thus far.

Cloud and Lightning are both very popular characters so it makes sense to have them front and central.

True enough I agree from a $$$ stand point (even though both FF13s have performed below Square-Penis' expectations & we'll have to see how well the final headache does when it's released) but from a moral & quality stand point they're not the best main characters & it'd be nice to see Square-Penis let their balls drop (see what I did there? Smilie) & put more public focus on FF6 & even FF8. FF15 looks very exciting & I'll need to fix my ps3 before it's released OR if Square is generous enough they'll cancel the exclusivity & put 15 on the Wii U & 360...they'd make more money that way too in the long run than limiting it to ps3 only & with how few Xbox Ones & ps4s have been sold so far it'd be a waste to push back release even FURTHER & make them for One & 4 only....that'd be an utter waste to the over all install base.
