Final Fantasy II for 3DS Virtual Console in Japan on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Classic Square RPG Final Fantasy II will be launching on the 3DS Virtual Console next week in Japan.

Fans of the much-loved Final Fantasy outing, or newcomers to the NES/Famicom versions, will be able to join the party from February 12th for 500 Yen.

Since the launch back in 1988, there have been numerous ports and enhancements on WonderSwan Color, PlayStation, Game Boy Advance, mobiles and the Virtual Console. This particular version, for the 3DS, will be the Famicom edition, complete with the original's rock-hard difficulty and the sprite work.

Just give us the 3DS remake for FF & FF6 on 3DS or Wii U EXCLUSIVELY already Square, & drop the lazy smartphone ports already you're pissing me off!!

yes i would love to see final fantasy II come state side on 3ds. ive never played final fantasy II, the real II....But i may be one of the only people who has accualy beat final fantasy I on the original nes.....in fact i still have the nes working copy........

Then we're two curtis. I beat it too AND still have the cart as wel (Save battery still in working order too ^^ !)
