The project, an expansion of Sonic Colours and more vibrant look for the hedgehog, was the first game as part of a three-title exclusive venture between Nintendo and SEGA. Since launching in October and up until December 31st, the game sold a respectable 640,000 units around the world - both 3DS and Wii U combined.
